MAY 19-21

You won't want to miss this one!
The 2004 Convention Committee members have already been planning and putting together a great and exciting venue for the 77th Annual "DOIN' IT U.P." Convention, May 19-21, 2004.  Scheduled  events will include opportunities for attending educational sessions, as well as other types of fun learning experiences, and lots of great social events.  There will be time to mix a little business with lots of pleasure.  Don't forget to bring your spouse.  There will be lots of great activities for them, too.  Be sure to revisit the site to see the convention venue as it unfolds.
Yes, we will be "DOIN' IT U.P." at the Best Western Franklin Square in Houghton, Michigan.  Some of you may remember having attended the 1997 Convention hosted at the Ramada Inn (now the Best Western) in Houghton.  The Best Western Franklin Square offers unrivaled service set in the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula.  The hotel is situated overlooking the Portage Waterway and is in a prime downtown location, great for shopping and exploring.
The Ameuraisa Restaurant and conference, convention and banquet facilities on the 7th floor of the Best Western Franklin Square, overlook the Portage Waterway.  You won't be disappointed in the service and the food.  The chefs are best known for their American, European and Asian cuisine, thus the restaurant name, Ameurasia.
Once again, the committee has decided to offer a hospitality room.  This gives the attendees an opportunity to gather with friends and colleagues, a chance to take a quick break between sessions, sip on a beverage and grab a snack anytime throughout the entire convention event.
The 2004 "DOIN' IT U.P." Convention at the Best Western Franklin Square will most definitely will be a convention to remember in years to come.  We hope that all of the members of the U.P. of Michigan Association of Independent Insurance Agents plan to attend this exciting event.  If you aren't a member or you haven't paid your dues yet this year, there is still time to send the nominal annual fee of $25 to become a member.   Members will receive registration forms for the "DOIN' IT U.P." 2004 Convention held May 19-21 at the Best Western Franklin Square in Houghon, Michigan by early March.
